Reception Drop Off Week 4

We are thrilled with how quickly Reception have settled in to their new class and routines. It’s like they’ve always been here!

Now that we are starting week 4, we ask that parents drop off outside the KS1 door where there are members of the senior leadership team to pass on any information to teachers and help see the children in.  Don’t forget you can also record any information for the teacher to see in the communication book that is looked at each day.

We do this to encourage the children to come in independently, find their peg and pass over their book. It also allows for more space for the children in quite a small environment as having many adults in there can be overwhelming for some of our children.

The class teacher will continue to be on the door (as all our teachers are) in the morning to greet the children and they are available after school for parents.
