WOOSH (Willow Out Of School Hours) Club is our popular wrap around provision offering care for children before and after school. It’s available to all pupils attending Willow Lane School aged 4 to 11. WOOSH Club is based in a small classroom opposite Red Class, where pupils are supervised by two experienced members of staff, and takes advantage of the school’s facilities before and after school.
In the morning there are two options :
Breakfast Club – 7:45 to 8:45am costing £4 includes a healthy breakfast.
Toast Club – 8:25 to 8:45am costing £2 includes toast and Juice.
Children are occupied with games and activities before being escorted to class.
The After School Club offers 5 options, to suit as many families as possible. There are 3 finish times to choose from, 16:15, 17:30 and 18:00 and the option to book a session after a school activity from 16:15 to 17:30 or 16:15 to 18:00.
Option | Start | Finish | Charge |
1 | 15:15 | 17:30 | £8 |
2 | 15:15 | 16:15 | £4 |
3 | 16:15 | 17:30 | £5 |
4 | 15:15 | 18:00 | £10 |

Younger children are collected from their classroom and older children make their own way to the WOOSH room, where they are registered, eat a healthy snack and take part in a range of activities.
It’s important that children are booked into before and after school clubs in advance, in order for food to be prepared for the correct number, although we will try to accommodate any last minute arrangements if your plans change. Bookings are made online, in advance, by noon on Friday for the week ahead. Bookings during the current week may be made by phone call (card payment) or in person visit to the School Office (card or cash payment). All bookings during the current week are chargeable, whether your child attends or not. Future bookings can be amended or cancelled via the Eduspot School Money online payment App
WOOSH is run as a non-profit service so it is important that parents pay in advance either online, or by card or cash at the School Office.
