Remote Education/Home Learning is the learning that children complete when not in school due to self-isolating (e.g. following a bubble closure or after receiving a positive COVID test result) or during local or national lockdown restrictions. Learning at home not only supports long term academic progress, but also provides a structure to the day and important well-being links to teachers and peers.
Our approach to Remote Learning uses a mixture of online resources, including teaching videos, slides and internet links. Children will access their remote learning through Seesaw, an online site and app.
As a school, we recognise the challenges that Remote Learning can bring, including juggling the demands of working from home, providing education whilst working, and the need for digital access. We are working with our families in a range of ways so that all children are supported with their learning and well-being during these challenging times.
