SANTA SWAP- CLEAR THE CUPBOARDS
Dear parents,
This year we are doing the Secret’s Room a little bit different as we are moving to a Santa Swap!
What is Santa Swap?
This is when children bring items to school and then they choose another item to wrap up to give as a present.
What we need from you?
Next week (w.b. 2nd Dec) on the days, Monday (Christmas Jumper Day), Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the children can come to school in non-uniform for a school donation. If they want to bring a donation for every one of those days or just for one then that is fine. But a donation should be made every time they come in their own clothes.
Items such as: Chocolates, sweets, smellies, toiletries, candles, bath sets, jewelery, hair accessories.
Basically, anything that would be a good present mainly for parents, as our children usually select a present for mum/dad/ grandparents/ carers.
Many of us have ‘bits’ hanging around and unwanted presents so now is the time to send them in.
How will it run?
On the week beginning 9th Dec, each class will access a room of the items sent in and choose one present to get wrapped up for home. If families have split parents, there will be an opportunity to revisit the room on the Friday, should we have enough donations for this.
